Elizeld E. Quantum deletion is possible via a partial randomization procedure // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2004. Issue 7 (44). P. 11-14

An alternative kind of deleting/erasing operation is Introduced which differs from the commonly used controlled-not (C-not) conditional logica1 operation - to flip io a standard, 'zero' value the (classical or quantum) state of the last copy in a chain, in a deletion process. It is completely reversible, in the classical case, possessing a most natural cloning operation counterpart. We call this deleting procedure R-deletion since, in a way, it can be viewed as a 'randomization' of the standard C-not operator. It has the remarkable property of by¬passing in a simple manner the 'impossibility of deletion of a quantum state' principle, put forward by Pati and Braunstein [1].

Kuchina S.A. ELECTRONIC GENERATIVE FICTIONAL TEXTS: LEXICAL, STYLISTIC AND STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 6 (183). P. 49-55

The article deals with the questions of typology and analysis of electronic fiction text program algorithms. The author pays special attention to the description of the algorithmic principles of generating poetic texts, based on strophic organization, poetic size, algorithmic syntax, and matrix of phrases. The electronic algorithmic generators and generative poems on their basis are the first types of electronic fiction. The novelty of the research is seen in the attempt to understand the program algorithms to generate a literary text not only as a method of text creation, but also as a substantive artistic expression, where the code is regarded as a meaning that needs no verbal accompaniment. The electronic literary text is a complex polycode art object which unites text, image, sound, graphics and animation elements with sense-making functions in its structure. The research urgency is caused by the complex analytic model for generative fictional texts of different types (algorithmic and code). The article gives an overview of generative poetic texts, represented by the works by M. Benabou, P. Braffort and J. Z. Piwkowski. The author presents the classification of electronic poetic texts, divides them into two types: permutational (using rearrangement of elements for the new text generated poems) and combinatorics (using syntactical templates and matrix of phrases). The combinatorics electronic generative poems have rigid grammar structure that optimizes the parameters of generated poetic texts. All permutational electronic generative poems are very close to the tradition and theoretical issues of QULIPO restrictions in the sphere of language and art.

Chistova E.V. COGNITIVE TRANSLATION THEORY IN RUSSIAN SCIENTIFIC DISCOURSE: KEY ASPECTS & PROSPECTS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 9 (206). P. 64-71

The article presents a historical review of conceptual works on Cognitive Translation Theory worked out by Russian scientists. It differs from western tradition and has its own specific way of development. The first prerequisites for the formation of a cognitive paradigm in Russian translation studies were observed in 1970–1980, and by the beginning of the 2000s. the cognitive theory of translation is formed with its own purpose, objectives, and subjects. The main trends of cognitive translation study in Russia are identified through the critical analysis. Firstly, some Russian scientists still prefer using the text-centric approach to compare a source text with a target text by methods of cognitive linguistics (concept, frame, scenario etc.). Secondly, others use a translation act as a study subject in the field of translation process. Meanwhile, western scientists are more focused on studying a translation event, which is only future-oriented in Russia. Thirdly, available Russian studies demonstrate polarized logic of formalized and arbitrary approaches to the translation process. The first is aimed at developing patterns in translation activity; the second declares the impossibility of bringing the translator’s cognitive structures into the system. Fourthly, there are 3 specific interactions between the subjects of translation activity (translator as a cognition subject, translator vs author, translator vs reader). The results of translation cognitive scholars are of high theoretical significance and are actively used in the development of artificial intelligence, improving automated translation, understanding the phenomenon of linguistic creativity and introducing innovative approaches into methodology of teaching translation.
