Kuryanovich A.V. DEVIANT SPEECH BEHAVIOR OF THE USERS OF THE NETWORK COMMUNICATION: FACTORS OF DISCOURSE CONDITIONALITY AND FORMS OF MANIFESTATION // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 7 (184). P. 78-86

The problem of deviation as a deviation from the social norm has been significantly studied in psychiatry and sociology. In the case when this kind of behavior is manifested in speech (it is explicated mainly by means of speech units), it can also be designated as deviant. The analysis of factors of discursive conditionality and forms of manifestation of the speech behavior of users of Internet correspondence deviating from social norms is relevant both in terms of compliance with the problems of a number of areas of modern linguistics (in particular, linguoperersonology), аnd from the point of view of the development of practical recommendations concerning interaction with «difficult» people in the space of network interaction. In the list of discourse-forming factors that determine the appearance in Internet communication of different forms of representation of deviant speech behavior (spam, trolling, elfing, cyberbullying, etc.), such features of network interaction are distinguished, аs anonymity, mediation, distance, freedom of self-expression, the difficulty of personal identification of a user and verification of his potential unlawful actions. Real communication prescribes to the individual appropriate behavior, which must be built within existing social norms. Communication in the network turns compliance with norms into a convention, the user is freed from demonstrating socially desirable behavior. Texts received via e-mail and correspondence of users of the social network «Facebook» are used as a research material. The relevance of electronic epistolary texts and their relevance in the field of modern communication is due, on the one hand, to their genre properties (polythematism, clichedness, reproducibility of form, style syncretism, full and polydiscursivnostyu), оn the other, an existing sociohistorical «order». In the case of demonstration by the user of deviant speech behavior, there is a violation of his moral and ethical norms of behavior in society, due to the presence of the sender installation for the implementation of a manipulative scenario, аs a result, electron-epistolary texts can be considered a form mediating manifestations of deviant speech behavior of users within the framework of network correspondence.

Keywords: network correspondence, social norms of behavior, deviant speech behavior, spam correspondence, trolling, elfing, cyberbullying

Bolotnova N.S. COMMUNICATIVE STYLISTICS OF TEXT: NOTIONAL EXPLICATION OF POETIC TEXT AND ITS INTERPRETATION // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 4 (210). P. 174-182

Introduction. Text interpretation problem is one of the most topical in up-to-date philology generally and in stylistics of text in particular. In this way the research of readers’ interpretative activity on the basis of experiments is of special interest, because it allows to judge steps of notional text explication in the addressee’s consciousness. The purpose of the article is to identify some patterns that are important for the interpretation activity of the collective addressee (reader) based on the methods of communicative stylistics of the text and its notional explication theory, developed in the context of this trend. Material and methods. Under the methodological base of communicative stylistics of text context and semanticstylistic analysis, a method of associative field of a key word’s modelling and experimental methodology are used in the article. It includes spare associative experiment as well as receptive experiment and modified methods of scaling by Ch. Osgud for detecting power of influence on collective addressee. Results and discussion. The research is done on the basis of experimental data on the reader’s perception of a verse “Light rain is tender, thin and delicate…” by O. E. Mandel’shtam with the use of the semantic explication theory, which is developed in the communicative stylistics of text, that realizes communicative and activity approach to the text. The theory of semantic explication of a text includes its lexical structure research, detecting of text notional paradigms of different types, their correlation, regulative means and structures analysis, textual associative field of a key word analysis versus associative field of this word, which is revealed during a spare associative experiment. Dependence of semantic explication of poetic text on its lexical structure of deductive type and author’s regulative means and structures, atributives as regulative text dominants and contrast as the main regulative method is determined in the article. Connection of interpretative readers activity (informants) with linguistic and extralinguistic aspects of pragmatic text level and its sublevels (figurative, emotional, ideal) is revealed on the basis of experimental methods. Experimental data verified the connection of the pragmatic level of the text with its informative and notional level. The factors that influence the relevant reading activities are identified. These factors are the following: author’s support to standard associations, which are stimulated by a key word, the role of lexical regulation in controlling of cognitive addressee’s of poetic text activity for revealing its deep sense. Conclusion. The introduced approach of researching interpretative readers’ of poetic text activity on the basis of its notional explication showed that the use of experimental methods with informants’ questioning makes it possible to judge about some regularities and steps of text’s and its elements’ influence on forming of common estimation and idea about text content, that readers have: the role of their informational thesaurus, ability to perceive not only deep, but also superficial sense. Dependence of a process of poetic text perception on its peculiarities – common regulative author’s strategy (explicit and implicit) and regulative means and structures and way of regulation – is detected.

Keywords: communicative stylistics, theory of notional text explication, poetic text, interpretation, lexical regulativity, experiment

Anufriyeva T.N. Content analysis of the concept of «Soft Skills» // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2023. Issue 2 (226). P. 120-132

In order to clarify the concept of “soft skills” a content analysis of the concept was carried out. It included the analysis of existing definitions in the world scientific literature, as well as definitions similar in content. The research was based on the national and foreign scientific literature, as well as special dictionaries. Their use made it possible to study the interpretation of the concept of “skill” and to systematize the concept of “soft skills” proposed by various authors. Research on the concept “soft skills” begins with an examination of the concept “skill” and its functionality both in the knowledge and skills system and within the competency-based approach. It has been found that in today’s higher education system “skill” is related to complex problem-solving and implies complex performance actions in comparison with its traditional understanding to denote actions that are performed automatically. Moreover, in the terminological field of modern pedagogy, the notion of “soft skills” has become established, which has a rich range of definitions and a list of analogues, which was the subject of the author’s research. The systematization of information obtained as a result of content-analysis of scientific literature in terms of “soft skills” made it possible to clarify the studied concept and scientifically substantiate our own definition. The refined definition is based on the common characteristics included in the concept of “soft skills”, selected according to the principle of maximum frequency of use, as well as taking into account the secondary frequency characteristics identified in the concepts of similar content. The result of this theoretical study can be considered as a model-hierarchy of key characteristics of the concept “soft skills” and a model of the key characteristics of related concepts. The model was based on the principle of common characteristics. Based on the data obtained in the course of the study and based on the expert opinion of researchers, it has been concluded that: the variability of the concept “soft skills” and related concepts (“non-professional competencies”, “non-professional skills”, “21st century skills”, “universal competencies”, “universal competences”, “key competencies”, and “soft competencies”) can be considered as identical and interchangeable. As a result of the work done, the concept of “soft skills” has been clarified. It contributes to a more precise formulation of learning outcomes in the pedagogical experiment on the development of soft skills in the framework of foreign language teaching in the technical university

Keywords: skill, soft skills, model of key characteristics of the concept “soft skills”, competence, competency

Igna O.N. METHODICAL COMMENT AS A MEANS OF DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF A FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHER // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 3 (180). P. 75-79

In the scientific-methodical aspect the methodical comment exists in two basic forms: as a type of information-methodical products and as an expert evaluation. Both forms are significant and necessary for theoreticians and practitioners of the educational process. In this article methodical comment is examined as a means of development and evaluation of the professional competence of the teacher of a foreign language. The most appropriate base (informative material) for methodical comments in the course of teachers’ training is proposed (methodical statements, quotes from scientific and educational literature, a description of the methods, techniques, methods, forms of teaching, educational activity results). Examples of tasks from foreign textbooks, which can be considered analogous to methodological commentary and author’s examples of methodological comments are provided. Such tasks were developed by the author of this publication for National Students’ Olympiads on the methods of foreign language teaching “Foreign language (English) and methods of teaching it” (Tomsk, Tomsk State Pedagogical University, 2016), and their use has fully justified their scientific and methodological value as a form of evaluation of professional competence of foreign language teachers. The criteria of evaluation of the methodical comments are given (pithiness, validity and completeness of the comment, actuality of the comment in terms of matching the realities of modern language education, knowledge of professional terminology, examples as a support to the comment, observance of time limits).

Chistova E.V. COGNITIVE TRANSLATION THEORY IN RUSSIAN SCIENTIFIC DISCOURSE: KEY ASPECTS & PROSPECTS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 9 (206). P. 64-71

The article presents a historical review of conceptual works on Cognitive Translation Theory worked out by Russian scientists. It differs from western tradition and has its own specific way of development. The first prerequisites for the formation of a cognitive paradigm in Russian translation studies were observed in 1970–1980, and by the beginning of the 2000s. the cognitive theory of translation is formed with its own purpose, objectives, and subjects. The main trends of cognitive translation study in Russia are identified through the critical analysis. Firstly, some Russian scientists still prefer using the text-centric approach to compare a source text with a target text by methods of cognitive linguistics (concept, frame, scenario etc.). Secondly, others use a translation act as a study subject in the field of translation process. Meanwhile, western scientists are more focused on studying a translation event, which is only future-oriented in Russia. Thirdly, available Russian studies demonstrate polarized logic of formalized and arbitrary approaches to the translation process. The first is aimed at developing patterns in translation activity; the second declares the impossibility of bringing the translator’s cognitive structures into the system. Fourthly, there are 3 specific interactions between the subjects of translation activity (translator as a cognition subject, translator vs author, translator vs reader). Popov G.N., Rogunova O.A. The Complex Approach in Solving the Problems of Health Preservation of Children of Pre-School Age // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2008. Issue 3 (77). P. 75-79

Preservation and strengthening of children's health is one of the tasks in the development of the country. Because of the fact that physical health is closely connected with mental health and emotional well-being, the way of improving it can't be reduced to small medical and pedagogical measures. The whole organisation of a child's life in a pre-school educational establishment should be directed at health improvement. That is why the aim of our model of health preservation is to combine all the elements in this complex and not to complicate it, but on the contrary, to make it more simple. In order to achieve this, it is necessary to define the most important lines in measures for health preservation in pre-school establishments.

Pak L.E. SPEECH GENRES SPECIFICITY OF AMERICAN AND RUSSIAN SPORTS COMMENTARIES // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 6 (183). P. 117-122

The article gives the results of comparison of illocutionary speech acts in sports commentaries in the USA and Russia under linguocultural paradigm. Sports commentary has made the system of its genres complicated over years. Description of discursive personality in the framework of sports commentary requires knowledge of basic speech genres and speech acts. We can see the tendency of individualization in sports commentary because it incorporates certain emotionally-estimated units (lexical and grammatical). Thus the analysis of speech genres specificity in sport commentary is of particular interest to scholars. Speech genres structure the communicative space of native speakers. Sports commentators, as bearers of different languages and cultures prefer different speech genres. Study of this specificity is of the interest of both foreign and domestic linguists. This is the first comparative analysis of the system of speech genres of sports commentators, as bearers of different cultures. That determines the scientific novelty of this study. Sports commentaries in artistic gymnastics (Russian and English) are the material of this study. We paid particular attention to the analysis of system of illocutionary speech acts using discourse analysis. The article describes the results of the analysis of illocutionary speech acts in sports commentary that determines the nature of functioning of the language personality.

Polyakova N.V., Kryukova E.A., Korotkikh G.V. SENTENCE STRUCTURE IN A FOLKLORE TEXT (ON THE MATERIAL OF SELKUP FOUR-LINE RACY FOLK RHYMES) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 2 (208). P. 111-116

Introduction. The syntax of the Selkup language has long remained a “white spot” on the linguistic map of the Samoyed linguistics. Phonology, morphology and vocabulary of Selkup dialects have repeatedly been the subject of scientific researches by representatives of various scientific linguistic schools. Much fewer scientific works are devoted to research of the syntactic features of the Selkup language, and most of this small number are based on material from the Northern dialects, while the Central and Southern dialects of the Selkup language have long remained out of the view of linguists. These factors make the study relevant. Material and methods. The material of the study are 30 four-line racy folk rhymes in the Narym dialect of the Selkup language. The main methods of the research are popular scientific (analysis, synthesis, generalization) and specific scientific (linguistic) methods: comparative, descriptive, method of immediate constituent analysis. Results and discussions. A brief overview of the syntax studies of different dialects of the Selkup language is presented, structural analysis of the texts of the four-line racy folk rhymes of the Narym Selkups is carried out, word order is analyzed, repetition as one of the main folklore techniques is considered. In terms of structure, 60.9 % of the sentences analyzed are two-part sentences, 39.1 % are one-part sentences. The most frequent word order in two-part sentences is SVO (16.66 %), in the second place is SOV (7 %), in the third - OSV (4.7 %); there are very few sentences with word order OVS (2.38 %). The most frequent repetitions revealed in the study are concentrating repetitions. Conclusion. A four-line racy folk rhyme as a special folklore genre borrowed from the Russians became widespread among the Narym Selkups. This genre is expected to have rhyme and influences the structural and syntactic organization of the sentence. Repetitions serve the function of structural organization of the text of a fourline racy folk rhyme, highlighting the most significant content components, and are less involved in its syntactic organization.
