| 2905 | The article deals with the rhetorical strategies of the argumentative orientation, implemented in the presidential discourse of V. V. Putin and D. A. Medvedev. The empirical material is the texts of Russian President's speech at the press conferences of 2010–2012. Press conference is a synthetic genre which combined declamatory monologue and public dialogue, as well as in their entirety exhibit features of idiolexicon and idiostyle and linguistic identity politics. There is a high degree of functional loading of the texts of this sort: through policy statements there is the opportunity not just to appeal to both the international community and to its citizens, but also to influence their audience. Political discourse can be considered today as one of the most important objects of analysis in linguistics. Argumentative political activity is defined as the basis of speech influence and the main means of achieving the objectives in the process of communicating with mass audience. The research was carried out within the framework of traditions of rhetorical argumentation. On specific text examples, are considered the methods by means of which are represented the rhetorical argumentative strategies of different types. The author comes to the conclusion that there are similar and different features of idiostyle and idiolexicon of the analyzed linguistic personalities exhibited by them in the framework of media discourse. | 2906 | Inroduction. Despite numerous publications on the early reception of F.M. Dostoevsky’s work in Great Britain, the scientific literature covers some important facts for understanding the peculiarities of the phenomenon only partially. Among them are the critical responses of the English writer Arnold Bennett pre-echoing the “Dostoevsky cult” in Great Britain. The aim is to elicit the peculiarities of Dostoevsky’s work reception by Bennett in 1910s and to identify the role of the latter in forming the tendencies of the writer’s legacy apprehension in the English culture. Material and methods. Material of the research includes three Bennett’s articles about Dostoevsky, published in The New Age weekly in 1910–1911. The methods comprise cultural-historical, literal-historical and comparative analysis. Results and discussion. In general, A. Bennett in his interpretation of Dostoevsky’s work follows the line of his predecessors. For example, he regards the form of the author’s works as a drawback; while his younger contemporaries will discover its novelty and meaning-making function in the text. Herewith, he rethinks some aspects of the traditional interpretation and calls The Karamazov Brothers, previously underestimated by the critics, an outstanding work. Bennett is not prepared for the deep understanding of the Dostoevsky’s work, but his interest in the author’s legacy, persistent urge to publish the translations play important role in popularizing his books in Great Britain. As a result, Dostoevsky’s novels become a matter of discussions among the young English writers and become available for the common readers. Conclusion. Bennet’s articles about the Russian author make a representative material in terms of learning the critic’s personal reception and in terms of identifying the typical features of the reception of 1910s. This course combines theoretical knowledge with complex laboratory works. | 2920 | The article concerns one of the most difficult periods in the history of the Russian Empire at the beginning of the 20th century, when, after the adoption of the decree of April 17, 1905 it was possible a transition from Orthodoxy to other Christian denomination, which significantly affected the activity of the ROC. Since no major articles have been abolished, “the Penal Code” (1845), based on which the persons who spoke with an appeal of the transition from Orthodoxy to another religion, could be brought to justice, the clergy of the church acted to limit the activities of the activists of the new religious movement. The formation is considered as an independent research area in Russian and international science. We show that the formation of psychology of creative work in Russia in the last third of 19th century – first half of 20th century was determined by major developments in such areas as theory of literature and scientific psychology. Additional cause of the formation was the specific status of Russian classical literature in social life. | 2925 | The problem of educators’ evaluation of urban sites in order to select them and include in the educational process in accordance with current pedagogical objectives has become very important. For this purpose, teachers and educational authorities need to make organizational and teaching decisions, depending on the characteristics of urban objects under consideration. The focus of the study is to develop and describe a pedagogical assessment tool to evaluate urban facilities, which will help in making informed decisions. The aim of the study is to develop a convenient tool for educators to assess the urban environment in terms of opportunities and ways of using its various elements in the teaching process. To achieve the goal, it is necessary to identify evaluation criteria, describe them, define indicators for each criterion, and verify whether the proposed tool meets the needs of educators. To conduct the study, the methods of questioning, interviewing, analysis, modeling and verifying results of the study were used. As a result of the analysis of available scales of assessment of the educational environment, questioning and interviewing teachers, and modeling, the authors developed three criteria for pedagogical evaluation of urban facilities. These include safety, accessibility, and educational potential. Each criterion is characterized by several indicators. It is proposed to evaluate physical, psychological and informational safety, organizational, communicative, psychological and pedagogical, normative, physical, temporal, material accessibility, as well as educational value, adequacy of the object to pedagogical goals, uniqueness and effectiveness. The developed assessment tool was tested in the pedagogical community of Moscow in the form of practical works on the assessment of urban facilities and their subsequent discussion. The data was received the practical applicability of the pedagogical assessment tool of urban objects by teachers of primary and secondary schools for the selection of urban environment objects in order to include them in the educational process and to expand the range of urban resources used in the educational process. The relevance of this study, carried out within the framework of a new cognitive-discursive linguistic paradigm, which is characterized by the principle of anthropocentrism, is due to the insufficient study of the poetic picture of the world by M. A. Voloshin. Analysis of the concept «path» in the poet’s work makes it possible to examine in detail and describe the important features of the author’s worldview; allows to establish the characteristic features and means of representation of this concept in its poetic picture of the world. The aim of the study is to identify the features of the content and lexical embodiment of one of the key concepts in the work of M. A. Voloshin – the concept “path”. Material and methods. The article provides data on the analysis of M. Voloshin’s poetic texts of different years, containing the concept of «path», based on the spatial parameters of the path identified by V. N. Toporov. The choice of this concept is due to its special significance for understanding the author’s worldview and his place in it. The research includes the use of methods of conceptual, contextological and semantic-stylistic analysis. Results and discussion. Consideration of some of the features of the verbalization of the concept «path» made it possible to conclude that the artistic space of M. Voloshin’s poetic texts is an individual author’s understanding of being and his place in it. This statement is substantiated by the types of analysis carried out: – the definition of the intertext associative-semantic field of the concept «path» in the texts of M. Voloshin, its ramification due to units that are both traditional and individual-author’s character (wandering spirit, wandering wanderings); – identifying directions of association (path-life, path-search, path-direction, path-destination, path-choice, pathknowledge, path-wandering), the analysis of which showed the presence of a synthesizing character of the path of the lyrical hero (earthly and cosmic paths), the dynamics of its development from existence within the spatial framework to going beyond the limits of time and space; – a detailed analysis of the lexical structure of the author’s poetic texts, in which the concept under consideration is reflected. Conclusion. The study allows us to conclude that in the representation of the concept “path” in the lyrics of M. A. Voloshin reflected the multidimensionality of his personality as a philosopher, thinker, poet.
