| 2469 | In the article we are talking about the psychological and pedagogical adaptation of Chinese students in preparatory courses, mastering Russian as a foreign language from zero level. The key moment in this process is the psychological and pedagogical support of foreign native speakers by their teacher. Based on the conducted Russian and foreign studies, it is noted that informal communication and extracurricular activities of teachers contribute to facilitating the adaptation process in the new educational environment and improving the performance of foreign listeners. The basis of such activities are curators and tutors of training groups who have knowledge of cultural and religious norms and have an idea of the generally accepted rules of conduct of their wards. It is noted that as a result of the presence of such support, the process of adaptation of Chinese listeners and, accordingly, the educational process is optimized. The problem of psychological and pedagogical adaptation is very multifaceted, so for a more effective psychological and pedagogical support of Chinese students, it is necessary to create a system of common policies supporting foreign students. For the successful adaptation of foreign students to the reality of the Russian cultural, social and educational environment, the services and units of Russian universities that engage in hiring and accompanying foreign students must be staffed by teachers, specialists in the field of intercultural communication, ethnography and psychology. Russia can take a worthy place in the world market of educational services, because it has certain advantages, such as high level of teaching, more affordable cost of education, compared to other countries. To the list of advantages it is possible to add the introduction of the system of psychological and pedagogical support of foreign students, including all stages of the educational process. | 2470 | The article analyzes the reasons for the shortage of highly-qualified specialists with high saturation of higher school graduates. The issue of the need to teach young people the ability to learn throughout their lives is dealt with. On the one hand higher education is viewed as one of the most important levels of a unified education system developing students’ thinking, and on the other - as a part of a serious business. The mechanism of interrelation of economy and production with education and science is formulated, which makes it possible to form “human capital”. The main trends of innovative activity in the university are singled out. It is emphasized that the teaching process should reflect the scientific theory on the one side, and on the other side, it should enable teaching the student to think and gain knowledge on his own. Widespread use of interpersonal communication in the group form of learning is considered by the author as one of the ways to activate students’ cognitive activity and develop their leadership qualities which are necessary for the leaders of science-driven productions. Possible approaches to the organization of students’ training in the university which can be implemented in the conditions of the new Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education 3++ are presented. The possible variant of introduction of innovation in the system of evaluating students’ learning activity in the form of a “quality loop” is described. The need for the professional teacher training and the development of teachers of higher education is being raised. Keywords: approaches to the organization of student training in the university, teaching the ability to learn, teaching the ability to think, quality loop | 1993 | |||||
| 2471 | Introduction. The paper examines human body color namings’ metaphorical models on the basis of Russian, English and Chinese texts included in the forensic discourse. The study of metaphorical word formation based on the different cultures everyday knowledge is of great importance not only for cultural linguistics, but also for research aimed at analyzing linguistic world-images. Color lexemes, therefore, are also valuable material for ethnocultural and discursive research. Aim and objectives. The aim of current paper is to carry out a comparative analysis of human body color namings’ metaphorical models on the basis of Russian, English and Chinese texts included in the forensic discourse. Material and methods. The empirical material of the study are the texts of forensic research in Russian, forensic papers of J. Prahlow, G. Skopp, M. Tsokos and R. Byard, Q. Stewart, R. Cobb, V. Keith in English, and books “Forensic Science” by Zhao Ziqin and “Guide to Forensic Pathology” by Jing Hualan and Li Huanxiang in Chinese. Firstly, we used continuous sampling method to select all the color namings from the above-mentioned texts. Secondly, we selected all the metaphorical color lexemes. Also, the study uses the following methods: definitional analysis, analysis of the internal form of the word, and a comparative analysis in respect to metaphor semantic parameters of color namings in three indicated languages. Results and discussion. Among the Russian-language color designations, we identified 2 metaphorical models, in which the comparison goes with 5 objects of the surrounding world, 5 models compared with 9 objects in English; and 5 models compared with 7 objects in Chinese. We noted that the metaphorization processes in Russian color namings of forensic medical discourse are less noticeable. Among the English-language color namings, there is a greater variety of objects surrounding world for the metaphor word formation. Russian and Chinese color namings have the same comparison with the color of the cherry fruit. In Russian and English color lexemes, there is a close comparison with clay and brick. In English and Chinese color designations, there is a comparison with ash color, and similar in meaning is a comparison of such results of actions as “to be washed out” (about color) and “to lose color”. In the lexical units of the Russian-language forensic discourse there is no comparison with actions, sweets and different features of objects. For the English material, the comparison with sweet food products, such as chocolate and cream, is unique. For the Chinese unique comparison goes with different characteristics of objects. Conclusion. As a result, we revealed metaphorical word formation features of lexemes naming the human body colors used in forensic discourse. Comparison with flora objects colors is specific to the Russian language metaphorical word formation. Comparison with the colors of materials is specific to English metaphorical word formation. The degree of manifestation of various characteristics of objects is specific to the metaphorical word formation of the Chinese language. These differences are explained by the cultural specificity of the languages involved in the analysis. The results of the comparative analysis revealed significant differences between the metaphorical lexemes of color in Russian, English and Chinese texts of forensic medical discourse. | 2484 | The paper focuses on national and cultural peculiarities of indirect euphemistic expressions in American English. The author suggests that euphemism is a strategic communicative device varying within and under the influence of the historic, socio and cultural linguistic context. The major emphasis of the article is the concept of “American football” as a means of understanding American cultural mind set and source of equivocal euphemistic vocabulary. The paper explores some American cultural traits and values (related to sports traditions and rules) that are deeply impressed in mind and influence language choice: individualism, high risks, strategic planning, obsession with technology, competitiveness, religious affiliation, nationalist beliefs and aggressive business behaviour. The article highlights the popularity of American football and sports in the USA that results in the corresponding euphemistic vocabulary generation. Some sports terms borrowed from American football get in general use and are widely employed in political rhetoric and everyday speech. Therefore, American euphemisms are believed to be a class of their own, principally because they involve American realia and appeal to basic American values, thus becoming challenging to decipher for outsiders and at the same time sounding familiar and picturesque to American English speakers. Accordingly, euphemisms under study provide cultural insight and bespeak cultural identity. Keywords: culture, indirect statement, euphemism, sports term, culture metaphor | 1992 | |||||
| 2485 | The article is devoted to the development of the concept of lexical regulative universal (LRU), which is in line with the communicative stylistics of the text, namely the theory of regulativity, taking into account the fundamental principles of cognitive linguistics – actively developing scientific direction. Under «universals» are understood not only universal laws and principles of structuring the text, but also «universal thinking». Lexical regulatory universal is considered in comparison with other notions of communicative stylistics: communicative universals, media communicative universals, cognitive style. Under the lexical regulatory universal is understood a verbal embodiment of the way of the author’s thinking and the way of his interactions with the addressee, in characteristic for the author means and methods of lexical regulativity. One of the key features of LRU is the choice of the author of the means and methods of regulativity from the point of view of manifestation of cognitive mechanisms that are universal for a specific poetic language personality, «standing» behind the text. Regulatory lexical universals reflect ways of knowing and interaction of the author with the surrounding world. Regulatory lexical universals can partly be changed / maintained over the entire work of the author, that allows to speak not only about the dynamics of his conceptual and poetic pictures of the world, but also about the development of his thinking. | 2486 | Introduction. The article substantiates the relevance of modern educational space, which combines scientific and practice-oriented components, knowledge and competence paradigms of education. The aim of this work is to generalize and systematize the set of requirements for quality humanitarian education. Material and methods. The methodological basis of the study was a set of methods of system, activity and personality-oriented approach, analysis of scientific and methodological literature, legal documents regulating modern General education practice. Results and discussion. Consideration of the phenomenon of humanitarian education and humanitarization of education, as well as the format of the mandatory exam in the Russian language (the main state exam and the unified state exam, as well as the final interview in the Russian language) allowed to fix the focus of the estimated results in two aspects: the actual knowledge and competence, allowing to assess the formation of the student’s personality, to assess his speech readiness in combination with his General culture. It is noted that modern linguistics considers language as a complex dynamic system, which is undoubtedly reflected in the context of the formation of the school educational space. The framework presents the organization of the educational process in the Humanities, namely its orientation as a single set of requirements, in particular between the actual subject education and personal abilities, inclinations of students, to be focused on the prolonged demand for students in their future professional space and in private life, which involves in the process of formation of the humanitarian educational space of the school the inclusion of various methodological options of educational activities and the inclusion of didactic units, focused on the formation of dialogue and interaction, as well as the formation of practical skills in the subject area. Conclusion. According to the results of the study, it is concluded that this variant of the organization of humanitarian educational space is possible through a combination of different approaches, among which the leading place can be occupied by the technology of personality-oriented education. The stages and content of the project are consistently disclosed, as well as its profound content aspects related to the activities of the student in the process of working on an artwork (with the help of its art criticism analysis and copying). The main result of the project is to master the competencies of the future teacher on the basis of theoretical and practical knowledge, got by a student in the process of mastering disciplines of culturological, pedagogical and artistic-creative directions that eventually must be demonstrated in final qualifying work. The student’s attitude to the work in progress, his abilities, knowledge level are monitored during the implementation of the project, that helps a teacher to adjust the work - either to complicate the research or creative task, or to give more difficult, but feasible tasks. Thus, during the educational process the student is developing and improving, personally disclosing under the supervision of teachers. | 2498 | Modern society of most countries is not socially homogenous yet composed of a variety of social and ethnic groups. Education in such multicultural state as Russia must take into consideration all components of a society. One of a perspective strategy for successful communication is ethno-pedagogical element in education. The complex of ethno-pedagogic means of formation of cross-cultural competence is aimed to minimize the psychological barriers of communication. It develops communication skills during educational process of foreign students. The ethno-cultural technology in teaching Russian as a foreign language solves three important tasks: transmission of personal culture; synthesis of personal culture with the culture of other ethnic groups; integration into global culture. The elements of ethno-pedagogic methods of education were applied in different historical epochs in places where two different languages and cultures came into contact. One example was presented from the period of Russian colony in Alaska, 1732-1867. In Aleut philosophy, the teacher is more a facilitator of those activities that are known as learning. The learner was engaged in learning activity not in the classroom, as in western societies, but in the different locations of each activity. It was always seasonal; for instance, during sea lion hunting it was at the beach. Instead of teaching by lecturing and talking, the boys were taken out to observe the hunting process conducted by the adult male who was proficient in hunting. The education during Russian period in Alaska was bilingual and bicultural: Russian and Aleut were taught through content on alternative base. Folklore of the indigenous people of Siberia (Selkup, Khanty, Ket) demonstrates examples of ethno-pedagogic strategies. Semantics of folklore discourse reveals the rules of accurate behavior and principles of indigenous worldview. | 2499 | Introduction. The purpose of the article is proving the expediency of necessity of a qualitative change in the management system of educational organizations, in particular, the possibility of applying the matrix approach, in order to organize effective interaction in the teaching staff. Material and methods. The research materials were the results of the psychological and pedagogical findings of national and foreign scientists (A. V. Afonina, A. A. Bodalev, Ya. L. Kolominsky, V. A. Malikova, A. Kh. Maslow, A. B. Orlova), and the experimental work, which was carried out by employees and students of Master’s program of the Northern (Arctic) Federal University from 2017 to 2019. These data allowed studying the peculiarities and dynamics of the secondary school teachers’ interaction, due to qualitative changes in the management system. Results and discussion. The main goal of the state educational policy is to improve the quality of education, and the organization of effective interaction in the teaching staff is a progressive means for achieving it. However, the phenomenon of synergetic interaction, possessing the potential for qualitative growth of teams, has not been fully studied in the field of education. Moreover, practice shows that modern teachers prefer the creation of personal educational spaces. There is an extremely low level of teachers’ group and teamwork at school, and the problem of building effective interaction between pedagogues is one of the key. Responsibility for the functioning and development of productive labor relations lies with the administrative stuff, and there is a lot of regulatory methods for organizing effective interaction. Professional educational activity is based on the main principles of harmonious management in any industry. There are four the most important management functions. They are planning, organization, motivation and control. The criteria for effective interaction, according to the research of A. V. Afonina, are mutual cognition, mutual understanding, relationships, mutually defined actions and mutual influence. Using the data of these equal organizational units in the managerial structure on a parity basis (a matrix approach) is an effective way for organizing of teachers’ effective interaction. This idea was proved by the results of the experiment, which had been conducted in one of the Arkhangelsk secondary schools. Conclusion. Matrix-structured management has a positive potential for building and implementing of teachers’ effective interaction. Moreover, in conformity with the educational environment, it is an innovatively oriented organizational management system.
