Pletneva L.M. LOCATION OF BRONZE OBJECTS AND BRONZE CASTING EQUIPMENT IN SHELOMOK II SETTLEMENT // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 3 (192). P. 194-197

Shelomok II belongs to the circle of monuments of the Scythian-Siberian world and dates back to the 5th–4th centuries BC. Shelomok II is located 10 km south of Tomsk, on the right bank of the Tom River, on a low ridge of 15–40 m wide and 12–15 m high from the water’s edge. The settlement was discovered by G. V. Trukhin in 1959. In 1971, the monument was examined by L. M. Pletneva. L. M. Pletneva also conducted excavations in 1972, 1973, 1975, 1976, 2001 and 2002. The collections are stored in the TSU Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography of Siberia and in the Seversk Museum. The total excavated area is 1024 square meters. Nine of 19 sites were excavated there. Findings associated with bronze casting, including bronze ingots and droplets, fragments of ladles, casting moulds and a vessel with the presence of metal on its walls, as well as fire pits with the same objects are all evidence of local casting. Horizontal stratigraphy of these findings made it possible to identify production facilities: buildings No. 10 and 11, as well as two fire pits with the same findings in the cultural layer of the settlement. Bronze objects were found in dwellings, workshops and a building of worship. However, only some of the bronze objects were made in this settlement. The rest of the objects found in settlements of the Tomsk Ob River, including Shelomok II, come from the Minusinsk Depression, the Altai, Central Asia, and other regions.

Kositskaya F.L., Matyukhina M.V. ON THE QUESTION OF THE SPEECH GENRE DIFFERENTIATION OF THE FRENCH SCIENTIFIC MEDICAL DISCOURSE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 4 (193). P. 133-137

The French medical discourse refers to institutional discourses and results from the interaction of a number of other discourses, such as advertising, medical academic discourse, legislative (legal) discourse in the field of medicine, scientific medical discourse and the actual medical discourse. It is characterized by polyphonic inclusions of social, historical, pharmaceutical, encyclopedic discourses. The article deals with the French scientific medical discourse and its genre palette. The concept of «genre» originates in antiquity being many centuries-old. The «Father» of the term «speech genre» is M.M. Bakhtin, who created the theory of speech genres, which under the influence of a new paradigm in linguistics has undergone same changes in its development, but still remains in demand. Modern linguistics does not have an exhaustive classification of speech genres. There are many definitions of the speech genre depending on the trend of the study. We consider that, the speech genre is a model, a canon, a relatively stable thematic, compositional and stylistic type of expression. Due to the heterogeneity of genre forms are different: macro-genre (hyper-genre), complex genre, nuclear genre, subgenre. The article deals with written speech genres of the French medical scientific discourse such as «the monograph» as a macro-genre and «the scientific article» as a nuclear genre.

Keywords: scientific medical discourse, genre, speech genre, macrogenre, nuclear genre, speech genre differentiation

Donskoy A.G., Borchenko I.D., Laryushkin S.A., Dudareva O.B. APPLICATION OF META-ANALYSIS METHOD IN HUMANITARIAN AND PEDAGOGICAL RESEARCH // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2021. Issue 5 (217). P. 78-89

Introduction. The implementation of the modern model of education requires teaching staff to possess certain skills in research work and to use scientifically grounded forms and methods in their professional activities. It seems that reliance on science should make it possible to achieve the required quality of education and thereby ensure the fulfillment of the social and state order for the education system. In particular, it is necessary to fix the fact that in empirical research used in science, there are, today, serious problems regarding the reproducibility of the process and the results of pedagogical research. In this regard, in fulfilling the requirement to achieve the quality of education, which is verified, first of all, by empirical research, teachers are faced with a serious problem, namely, with a crisis of reproducibility. The reproducibility crisis is a serious methodological crisis, the essence of which is the impossibility of repeating the results of studies that were previously published or the impossibility of repeating the study itself (for technical and other reasons). Most often, this is due to the absence or insufficient representation of the following elements of pedagogical research: the presence of an experiment, a clear description of the planning and course of the experiment, verifiable data – when it is not clear what, how and in what conditions to reproduce. The goal is to scientifically substantiate the feasibility of extrapolating the meta-analysis method from evidencebased medicine to pedagogical research as a tool to increase the reproducibility of both experiments and the results obtained in pedagogical research. Material and methods. The research methodology is based on the following methods: study and analysis of literature, analytical generalization, forecasting, abstraction, analogy, measurement, data synthesis, generalization, modeling, analogy, statistical processing of the information received. After the main reasons causing the crisis of reproducibility in science were considered, the use of the meta-analysis method in pedagogical research was substantiated as a means of minimizing the negative impact of the crisis of reproducibility. Results and discussion. The current literature on the research problem is analyzed from different positions. The essential features and causes of the crisis of reproducibility in pedagogical research have been studied and generalized. It was found that the crisis of reproducibility is interdisciplinary in nature. The problem of finding means to minimize the negative impact of the crisis of reproducibility on the development of pedagogical research is actualized. As such a tool, a meta-analysis is considered and an assumption is made about the advisability of extrapolating the method of meta-analysis from medicine to pedagogical research. The theoretical and practical aspects of the application of the meta-analysis method are considered. The definitions of the concepts of meta-analysis and a systematic review are derived. It was found that meta-analysis intersects and partially includes elements of such methods and technologies as content analysis, applied scientometrics, blockchain. The organizational and substantive features of the meta-analysis are considered, which make it possible to apply this method to assess the quality of pedagogical research. As a practical justification for the applicability of the method, a contour plan for the meta-analysis of scientific publications reflecting the results of pedagogical research is proposed. A number of controversial provisions that could become the basis for further research is put forward. A way is outlined for a comprehensive study of tools to minimize the negative impact of the crisis of reproducibility in pedagogical sciences. Conclusion. The has been substantiated the use of meta-analysis as an effective tool for: 1) assessing the quality of pedagogical research; 2) planning and organizing the experiment; 3) presentation of the results of empirical research in pedagogy.

Keywords: meta-analysis, blockchain, systematic review, reproducibility crisis

Dubskikh A.I., Butova A.V., Sevastyanova V.S. THE VERBALIZATION MEANS OF EVALUATION IN “STAR” INTERVIEW // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 6 (183). P. 61-65

The article examines the role of explication of the evaluating attitude in the „star” interview. The evaluation category is an integral part of the linguistic view of the world. A man’s relation to the world and other people is the relation of active interaction with the world around and purposeful transformation of the world according to his values. The intentional features of “star” interview aimed at maximum disclosure of the interlocutor’s personality, as well as at the identification of his value conceptions are described in the work. The evaluation of the agent’s life experience and his social status form the basis for choosing value orientations – ideological, aesthetic, moral grounds for evaluating the world around. Therefore, it could be argued that the evaluation expresses the objective and subjective relation of the agent of speech to the designated one. The characteristic of structure and components of evaluation is given. The emotionalevaluative state of the agent requires special linguistic forms of his objectification. Examples of language verbalization of the evaluation in the “star” interview are given. The choice of the means depends on speaker’s interpretation of this or that fact and his evaluation of this or that object’s act. The research has shown that the modern language has a variety of phonetic, lexical, grammatical, phraseological means for adequate expression of the emotionally-valued relations to the agent of the utterance. As a rule, there is a close interaction of linguistic means of various levels.

Keywords: “star” interview, evaluation, structure of evaluation, components of evaluation, the emotionalevaluative replies, language verbalization of the evaluation

With such variety of regulative means used by language personalities, repetition in aggregate with other means and structures dominates (comparison, parcelling, rhetorical questions, etc). Some individual and personal peculiarities of media discourse may increase influence effect and at the same time reduce it. The results are of interest for theory of speech influence, media linguistics, communicative stylistics of the text.

Klushina N.i. NATIONAL STYLE AND MEDIA VARIATION OF A LANGUAGE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 4 (193). P. 26-31

The so-called epoch of the Internet, which has replaced the epoch of book, change dramatically the Russian literary language. That is to say, the language of media obtained the leading position amongst other language variations. The language of media is becoming a model language of the society and reflecting the current language practice. The media language represents the city linguistic norms and is focused on modernization (literary linguistic norms, in particular). This article is to set the hypotheses that there are two main form of the national modern literary language, existing in the modern information society. They are: 1) the elite literary language; 2) the mass literary language (and its implementation in the media as an option, which we mean “media language”). In mass-media communication, focused on mass media mind, literary standards are on the periphery of media content. Standard standards are superseded by norms of media communication, which draw their resources from the mass language of the whole society and themselves form this mass language. The present hypothesis is based on three fundamental principles: 1) the change of social status of modern media; 2) the definition of mass media language as common national language; 3) the concept of mediatization, which we develop in correlation to mass media language. This article concludes that traditional language norms are challenged by new technologies and are not relevant to speaking practice of mass media.

Milevskaya N.I. VERSIONS AND MYTHS OF THE SILVER AGE ABOUT LERMONTOV'S LIFE AND DEATH // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2014. Issue 9 (150). P. 131-139

The article gives the versions and myths made by outstanding representatives of religious and philosophical thought and the poets of Silver Century about life and death of Lermontov; analyzes and systematizes their understanding of the tragedy – the death of the poet, identifies common places in their views on the poet (brevity of his life, incompleteness of literary fate and the uncertainty about the religious fate, hypothetical continuation of the poet’s life). A view on a duel as a suicide. The Silver Age of Russian literature is the religious quest, known as the “God-seeking”. Writers, thinkers and religious philosophers have argued individual's right to seek God, to “religious identity” (I. A. Ilyin). They talked in detail about the religious way of consciousness. For them an integral part of their religious understanding of life and the world became Lermontov, whose works gave answers to their excruciating questions. No less attractive and mysterious was the fate of the poet. Religious and philosophical themes of Lermontov’s works and their literary criticism of religious philosophers can serve as a methodological basis for the study of the value of religion in the artistic conception of the world of the poet and is of interest in the historical and functional aspects. This method is predominant in the article.

Babakina T.N., Zhukova N.S. PECULIARITIES OF TRANSFORMATION OF MODAL SEMANTICS OF THE VERB MÜSSEN IN GERMAN // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 6 (183). P. 56-60

The research of means verbalizing the modal semantics, and in particular of modal verbs remains urgent in modern linguistics as they express modal values of the possibility and need which are ones of the most important in the cognitive and communicative relation. In its turn, cognitive and communicative needs of society remain variable and that causes semantic function extension of the language means, which are constantly to respond to the needs of society noted above. In this regard the semantics studying of the verb müssen is especially significant. The purpose of the research presented in this article is to reveal specifics and to define the mechanisms of the past and current semantic changes of the verb müssen that have ensured its development as a modal verb according to cognitive and communicative needs of the German society. To that effect the original Old, Middle, Early New and New High German texts were studied. In the selected examples from the given texts by means of the method of semantic interpretation and using the method of contextual analysis the meanings of preterite-present verb müssen functioning as modal verb in the correspondent periods of the development of German language were determined. Due to the consistent usage of the method of comparison and collation in the process of analysis of the meanings their similarities and differences were determined. For more detailed reflection on the transformation development tendency in the semantics of the verb müssen appearing in modal function the methods of mathematical statistics were also used. As a result of the conducted research semantic peculiarities of the verb müssen functioning in various periods of German were specified and the mechanism of the past and current changes is defined. The basic semantic transformation mechanism of the verb müssen into both modal objective and, from Early New High German, into modal subjective semantic is context-induced reinterpretation.

Petrochenko L.A. THE FUNCTIONAL-SEMANTIC FIELD OF DEATH AS A EUPHEMISTIC PHENOMENON // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 6 (183). P. 76-79

The article deals with the peculiarities of the use of euphemisms and dysphemisms belonging to the functionalsemantic field of death. Euphemisms became important bricks in the walls people have built to keep the dead from making them uncomfortable. The most fertile ground for euphemizing is one where open discussion of a topic is taboo. So it was with sex in the Victorian era, and so it became with death after World War II. Postwar advice books counseled parents to avoid talking about this subject with their children. Having done their best to avoid anything connected with the dying and dead, English-speaking communities replaced associated expressions considered too direct with soothing alternatives. The words ‘passed away’, or simply ‘passed’, and ‘gone’ are the most prevalent synonyms for ‘died’. Much has been written on the psychology of denying imminent death. Euphemisms clearly have an important role to play in this denial process. Growing interest in death and dying during recent decades, supported by several publications on the subject, suggests a certain willingness to face the topic squarely in print. This willingness, however, is not reflected in everyday discourse which can be proved by mass literature contexts. In addition to euphemisms there exist various dysphemisms and slang words. Like euphemisms, dysphemisms are motivated by fear and distaste, but also by hatred and contempt. Slang expressions and dysphemistic terms of insult or disrespect should be avoided in speech and teaching a language.

Shutova A.V. ON THE LEXICAL STRUCTURE INDIVIDUALITY OF POETIC TEXT BY O. E. MANDELSTAM IN HIS ART WORK DYNAMICS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 6 (195). P. 39-43

The article deals with the concept “Lexical structure of a text” as one of the major notions in functional lexicology and communicative stylistics. In connection with the fact that the basic element of any piece of art is a word, the fundamental element in research of creation of a specific author is identification of peculiarities of the lexical structure of his poetic texts. The analysis made by the author of the article makes it possible to compare the features of the lexical structure of the texts with different creative periods of the author and to identify a certain dynamics. In order to carry out the analysis of the lexical structures of O. E. Mandelstam’s poetic texts based on the periodization of the poet’s work offered by M. L. Gasparov, three most typical, written at different times poems were chosen: relating to the period of early creation “More tender than tender”/ ”Nezhneye nezhnogo” (1909), to the period “Tristia” “The light Moscow rain”/ ”Moskovskiy dozhdik” (1922), to the period of the thirties of the twentieth century “We live with no sense of the country”/” My zhivem, pod soboyu ne chuya strany” (1933). The research found that the lexical structure of poetic texts by O. E. Mandelstam is notable for its wealth and diversity. The poetic texts chosen for the research made it possible to identify various types of their lexical structuring (Depending on the central main point of associative-semantic macro network of the work; depending on the dominance of one of the three types of sense relationship in the framework of lexical microstructures: addition, intensification and contrast; depending on the degree of explicitness / implicitness of dominant lexical microstructure). It is established that the prevalence of defined type of lexical structure in poetic texts by the author correlates with different periods of work of the poet in accordance with evolution of his poetic and linguistic worldview.

Introduction. Various educational organizations create a characteristic educational environment that ensures the specificity of the educational impact on students. The key task of high school is the education and upbringing of a citizen, in connection with which it is advisable to talk about the formation of values that ensure the prosocial orientation of the individual, which in turn finds expression in the creation and preservation of the world and oneself in the world. The impact of the educational environment on the personality of the student is carried out simultaneously with a number of other translators of values: family, friends, the media, etc., which entails the formation of a hierarchy of values of the adolescent in the process of their mutual integration and determines his life perspective. The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between the formation of the value-semantic sphere of high school students with the current educational environment of educational organizations. Materials and methods. We have used empirical analysis and questionnaire methods. The study of the educational environment was carried out by analyzing the documents presented on the official websites of three educational organizations in the city of Irkutsk (Lyceum No. 2, secondary school No. 45, Women’s Orthodox Gymnasium). The questionnaire of students included the methodology “Emotional orientation of the personality” (by B. I. Dodonov) and “Meaningful life orientations” (by D. A. Leontyev). Results and discussion. The study showed a difference in the development of the emotional and value sphere, which in some aspects differs from the pupils of the Orthodox gymnasium, lyceum and secondary school. Most high school students of all the examined groups purposefully plan their activities, strive to achieve high results, demonstrating socially significant values. Conclusion. The methods used in the study confirmed the differences in the value-semantic sphere of students of three institutions that are different in the characteristics of the organization of the educational environment. It was determined that the glorical emotions associated with the need for self-affirmation are most pronounced among the gymnasium students of the Orthodox gymnasium, the practical emotions caused by the activity, its success – among the lyceum students, communicative – among the students of the secondary school.

Following our recent results [P. Yu. Moshin, A. A. Reshetnyak, Nucl. Phys. B 888 (2014) 92], we discuss the notion of finite BRST-antiBRST transformations, with a doublet λa, a = 1, 2, of anticommuting (both global and field-dependent) Grassmann parameters. We find an explicit Jacobian corresponding to this change of variables in the theories with gauge group. Special field-dependent BRST-antiBRST transformations for the Yang-Mills path integral with sa-potential (functionally-dependent) parameters λa = saΛ generated by a finite even-valued functional Λ and the anticommuting generators sa of BRST-antiBRST transformations, amount to a precise change of the gauge-fixing functional. This proves the independence of the vacuum functional under such BRST-antiBRST transformations and leads to presence of modified Ward identities. The form of transformation parameters that induces a change of the gauge in the path integral is found and is exactly evaluated for connecting two arbitrary Rξ-like gauges. The finite field-dependent BRST-antiBRST transformations are used to generalize the Gribov horizon functional h0, in the Landau gauge in BRST-antiBRST setting, in the Gribov– Zwanziger model and to find hξ corresponding to general Rξ-like gauges in the form compatible with gauge-independent S-matrix.

Belozyorova E.Y. COGNITIVE ASPECT OF ANALYSIS OF MODERN ENGLISH PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 5 (211). P. 80-87

Introduction. The given analysis is about 475 modern phraseological units that contribute to the formation of the phraseological picture of the world. The study examines the relationship of semantics and the form of phraseological units, due to the situation of communication. The phraseology of a language as part of the linguistic picture of the world is included in the framework of the study of cognitive linguistics. Aim. This study is aimed at identifying and describing modern phraseological units, as an example of allegorical expression in the communication process to achieve certain cognitive goals. Material and methods. The presented empirical material in the article is an actual selection from a modern literary text (Under My Skin, The Door That Led To Where, End Game, Liccle Bit, The Art of Being Normal – 2015 publication). Examples were obtained by reading fiction of modern British authors (J. Dawson, S. Gardner, A. Gibbons, A. Wheatle, L. Williamson), by the method of continuous sampling. Results and discussion. The analysis allowed us to consider the cognitive aspect of phraseological units. It is established that a broad approach to the study of phraseology expands the boundaries of phraseological doctrine and allows you to consider more structural and semantic forms of phraseological units. The following modern phraseological units are considered and analyzed in the article: phraseological units, phraseological units derivatives and author formations. The semantic features of derivatives of phraseological units and copyright formations are analyzed in the framework of modern phraseology of the English language. It is shown that the structural complexity of phraseology is based on the cognitive aspect of its semantic structure. Conclusion. The analysis made it possible to identify the structural range of phraseological units and consider their transformative processes according to semantics and situational use. The study shows that the modification of phraseological structures and the introduction of new idiomatic phrases (derivatives of phraseological units and author’s idiomatic expressions) are due to linguistic and cultural needs in the expression of society. All analyzed modern phraseological units of the English language are considered as operational units of thinking of the present time and are a means of reflecting the linguistic picture as a whole. The linguistic picture of the world is a reflection of the external and internal world of a person, his thinking and speech. The modern phraseology of the English language reflects changes in human comprehension, understanding and interpretation of the outside world. The phraseological unit has a complex structure and belongs to a special linguistic category, which leads to an increase in the interest of cognitive research. Thus, the study of phraseology at this stage should be focused on the phraseological unit, its meaning and its usage.
