The aim of the article is to identify the types of collocations, their semantics and functions in the texts of new types of user’s manuals (by the example of For Dummies). Methods and material. The method of the research is functional-semantic analysis. The material of the study was the texts of new user’s manual “for dummies” Results and novelty of the research. The analysis has shown that new types of user’s manuals differ from traditional manuals in use of expressive and occasional collocations. The presence of usual and terminological collocations brings together new instructions with traditional ones. Babak L.I. Analysis of microwave linear noisy circuits using topological scattering matrix.. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2005. Issue 7 (51). P. 11-17

A method of analysis of linear noisy microwave circuits with arbitrary topology is proposed based on introduced topological scattering matrix. It allows the solution of two types of problems on the common basis: 1) analysis of networks consisting of multiport components; 2) de¬termination of scattering and noise wave matrices of networks while changing node currents and voltages. The method is implemented in CAD tool for symbolic analysis of microwave circuits, MICROSYMA, using the MapleV environment Examples of solving microwave circuit symbolic analysis problems with computer are presented.

Kalenova N.A. COGNITIVE MECHANISMS OF SEMANTIC TRANSFORMATIONS IN PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS (ON THE MATERIAL OF EPISTOLARY). Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 6 (159). P. 90-95

The article discusses the characteristics of cognitive mechanisms of semantic transformations in phraseological units (FU): literal interpretation, dual actualization and reinterpretation. The author analyses the particular examples of semantic transformations in FU found in the letters. The article explores general principles in functioning of cognitive mechanisms of semantic transformations in FU and their distinctive features. In the analysis of the contextual use of transformed phraseological units there are used the data of extra-linguistic category contained in the comments to letters, reference literature. The author believes that literal interpretation of FU is provided by the associative relationship with the component composition of each of FU. If cognitive mechanisms ensuring this technique does not work, it does not affect the decoding of meaning. During dual actualization lexical meanings of components of FU and phraseological meanings operate simultaneously, layering. The author focuses on the “dual” meaning of such units, achievable by this technique, and relies on the effect of this semantic technique. If the mechanism fails, some part of the coded by this method information becomes lost for recipient. Reinterpretation gives FU an occasional sense. The author of the article proves that encoding can be successful if the semantic content of FU is explained by means of surrounding context.

Morozova S.A. THE WAYS OF LEARNING ACTIVITIES INTENSIFICATION IN CLASSES OF MUSICAL-THEORETICAL SUBJECTS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 12 (177). P. 113-116

This article is devoted to the topical problem – the intensification of learning activities in classes of musicaltheoretical subjects. These subjects play an important role in the development of hearing and musical thinking of the future professional musician. The author considers the learning activity as a complex and multicomponent process designed to change the student – the subject of training. The basic components of educational activity are carried out: the motive of learning activity, goal setting, training activities, control and evaluation. Management principles of educational activity of students are defined: management as support and maintenance, flexibility and situationality, delegation of authority and responsibility to the students. Pedagogical effect on all component parts of the category, as well as increased activity of all subjects of teaching is expected to activate the learning activity. In order to influence the component “training activities” the system of algorithms is developed for different types of learning tasks for the most demanding musical-theoretic disciplines – “Solfeggio” and “Harmony”. The first positive results are evident in the tendency to improve the quality of results, indicating involvement of students in co-management of educational activities.

For this purpose, teachers and educational authorities need to make organizational and teaching decisions, depending on the characteristics of urban objects under consideration. The focus of the study is to develop and describe a pedagogical assessment tool to evaluate urban facilities, which will help in making informed decisions. The aim of the study is to develop a convenient tool for educators to assess the urban environment in terms of opportunities and ways of using its various elements in the teaching process. To conduct the study, the methods of questioning, interviewing, analysis, modeling and verifying results of the study were used. As a result of the analysis of available scales of assessment of the educational environment, questioning and interviewing teachers, and modeling, the authors developed three criteria for pedagogical evaluation of urban facilities. It is proposed to evaluate physical, psychological and informational safety, organizational, communicative, psychological and pedagogical, normative, physical, temporal, material accessibility, as well as educational value, adequacy of the object to pedagogical goals, uniqueness and effectiveness.
