The article gives the first ecological estimation of Cicerbita uralensis (Rouy) Beauverd habitat according to the scales by D. N. Tsyganov (1983). The ontogenesis of C. uralensis growing in the republic of Mari El is described, the scheme of its ontomorphogenesis is made and the ontogenetic structure of cenopopulation is studied for the first time. It is found out that depending on the conditions of the habitat C. uralensis can form two life forms: shortrhizomatous on waterless meadows and shortrhizomatous stoloniferous in fir-lime woods.

The biographic sense of I. A. Bunin’s poem “Canary” (1921) is reconstructed in the article. The communicative status and “parallel” reading of the poem and documentary prose (memoirs, letters, etc.) have specified Bunin in the interference of two stories – a singing canary and a poet-emigrant. The author’s relation to the events, which have occurred in Russia of 1917, through the latent communication of the latter with “wonderful island” and Atlantis, comes to light. The research of “the canary text” of this period allows us involving Bunin into the context of recreated literary dialogue.

This article analyzes the process of formation of the Russian scientific and pedagogical school at Professorial Institute of Dorpat. A special attention is paid to research activities of students of Professorial Institute, development of their skills of independent work and organization forms of practical training with students. The content of this training included both mastering the basics of research activities under the guidance of experienced mentor-professors, diving into it, and mastering effective forms of teaching their science, methods of initiation of students to it and developing their interest to scientific and pedagogical activities, desire to be engaged in it. In the composition of communities of testate amoebae (Amoebozoa, Rhizaria) from the sediments of the shores of lakes and river Tom of Tomsk territory found 27 species and subspecies. Characteristic elements of the fauna are eurytopic species with wide geographical distribution: Arcella discoides difficilis Deflandre, Centropyxis discoides (Penard) Deflandre, Difflugia bidens Penard, Difflugia corona Wallich., Difflugia schurmanni van Oye. The diversity of species in each habitat ranges from 6 (Sennaya Kuria) to 13 (Boyarskoe Lake, the Tom River) species per sample. The density of organisms did not exceed 2,000 speciments/m 2. Changes in the diversity of the amoebae community in Sennaja Kuria are considered as a result of mechanical cleaning of the bed of the lake produced in 2012–2013.

This paper presents an investigation of the discourse markers, the analysis of which is based on the data of the magazines in Russian and English, such as FUEL, Oil and Gas, Drilling and Oil, Oil and Gas Business. The work gains currency because of the increased interest in the field of the functioning of the discourse markers – the lingual units, which play a major role in the formation of a coherent discourse. The study shows the differences in the distribution of the discourse markers in Russian and English papers on Geology, Oil and Gas Industry. It also helps to identify some of the possible reasons behind these differences, which can be both of linguistic and extralinguistic nature.

The article is devoted to one of the key derivations of Russian culture of language – concept “Family”. It provides a complete and coherent analysis of dictionary definitions of the name of this concept. Published in XIX–XXI dictionaries of Russian language are served as a source of practical material. Material of dictionaries allowed to reconsrtuct the usual model of the name of concept “Family”. The article also describes the first observations about the specificity of Russian concept in the background of correlative concepts. The article concluded that the word “family”, having unbranched semantic structure has undergone semantic changes and gradually became a polysemant. Over time it has developed the metaphorical and metonymic meanings. As a term the word came into use in the natural and language sciences.

It was investigated the effect of hypobaric hypoxia on the activity of enzyme of different metabolic pathways in wheat and rice seedlings, which differ in steadiness to studying factor. Hypoxic incubation was resulted in increased enzymatic activities of alcohol dehydrogenase and malate dehydrogenase (NADH) in roots and leaves of rice. The activity of malate dehydrogenase (NAD*) was decreased in roots and leaves of both plants under hypoxia.

This article introduces the information about the absolute age of the relict bog, situated in the poligonal bogs zone (in the south of Gydan peninsula). It is established that this bog isn’t «relic», because it was formed in Holocene. The comparison of peat accumulation of this bog and of oligotrophic bogs was organized and some particular qualities of peat accumulation in the evolution of «relict» peatlands were identified. Also the article presents the botanical composition of the peat deposit of the object of study. The comparison of the Holocene climatic variations on Russian Plane and in Western Siberia for the oligotrophic bogs zone is considered. It is proved that for the reconstruction of climatic variations for the «relict» peat deposit in the Far North regions it’s necessary to consider the inertness of cryogenic processes.

Stepanova Elena Sergeyevna LINGUOCOGNITIVE PECULIARITIES OF THE SCIENTIFIC AND POPULAR MEDICAL DISCOURSE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 4 (201). P. 95-101

The aim of the research is the description of the cognitive and discursive space of the scientific and popular medical discourse, which is represented by phenomenological cognitive structures and linguistic cognitive structures. It provides the differentiation of the notions “scientific medical discourse” and “scientific and popular medical discourse”. The scientific and popular medical discourse is one of the types of the scientific discourse. Material and methods. The methodology of the research is based on the cognitive approach to the phenomenon, its actualization in the discourse proposed by Victoria V. Krasnykh. She states that knowledge and representations are preserved in cognitive structures. The research methods are cultural analysis and descriptive-analytical contextual method. Results and discussion. The results of the research show linguistic means that represent phenomenological cognitive structures that are typical for the cognitive and discursive space of the scientific and popular medical discourse. Extralinguistic factors influence the discourse. In case of the scientific and popular medical discourse the sphere of doctor-patient communication serves as an extralinguistic factor. The scientific and popular medical discourse has the characteristics of the scientific medical discourse (representatives of which are doctors) and the naïve medical discourse (representatives of which are patients). The strategies that are typical for different types of discourse intersect in the scientific and popular medical discourse. Conclusion. The theoretical significance of the research lies in the fact that results of the research contribute to cognitive linguistics on the questions concerning the study of the scientific and popular medical discourse. The results expand the basis of study of semantics of the scientific and popular medical discourse, means of realization of phenomenological cognitive structures. The suggested typology can be used for the analysis of other types of discourse. The practical significance lies in the fact that the typology of phenomenological cognitive structures characterizes the cognitive and discursive space of the scientific and popular medical discourse. The author of the scientific and popular medical discourse uses linguistic means taking into consideration linguocultural experience of a linguistic personality. It helps to view the ordinary phenomenon from the unusual perspective. The article presents the examples of realization of phenomenological cognitive structures that reflect cultural views of the society. Phenomenological cognitive structures represent cultural values in the transformed way.

Kuryanovich Anna Vladimirovna METHODS FOR SUPPLYING RUSSIAN AND CHINESE YOUTH JARGON: COGNITIVE MECHANISMS OF DEPENDENCE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 4 (210). P. 54-62

Introduction. In the 21st century, all the languages of the world undergo radical changes in its lexical composition. Due to the need to nominate new concepts, phenomena and objects in the process of cognition and development of a constantly changing world, the lexical fund of languages is enriched by the emergence of new vocabulary, among which there are a lot of slang words. Youth jargon is an interesting language phenomenon both in Russian and in Chinese, which is developing almost simultaneously in two completely different language systems and linguistic cultures. Material and methods. The author analyzes the ways of replenishing the lexical fund of Russian and Chinese youth slang in a comparative aspect, taking into account the factor of cognitive mechanisms dependence of meaning generation within the framework of the slang fragment of the national world picture. The study is carried out on the basis of the material of the author’s dictionary files, as well as data from lexicographic sources based on the methodology of contextual, contrastive-comparative analysis, as well as word-formation modeling. Results and discussion. The most productive ways of enriching the corpus of youth vocabulary in both languages are revealed. This is metaphorization, affixation, foreign borrowing. At the same time, unlike Russian youth jargon, in the Chinese language, such methods as abbreviation and homophony reveal a greater specific gravity and linguocultural specifics in the formation of new slang units. The Chinese youth sociolect also reveals specifics when adapting foreign borrowings. These differences are due to the typological features of the Chinese language and the originality of the linguistic picture of the world of modern Chinese youth. Conclusion. The results obtained in the course of the study allow us to talk about the combined action within the framework of the slang subsystems of the Russian and Chinese languages as universal trends in the field of word production, and ways specific to each language to implement these trends. Ways to replenish youth jargon in a particular linguistic culture are determined by the conceptual content of its corresponding fragment.

The article reveals the mechanism of action of an extract of Siberian fir in nurture of quails. The authors show that the use of extract of Siberian fir (CSE) stimulates the adrenal cortex, the selectionof thyroid hormones in the blood .
