| 2901 | Introduction. The relevance of this study, carried out within the framework of a new cognitive-discursive linguistic paradigm, which is characterized by the principle of anthropocentrism, is due to the insufficient study of the poetic picture of the world by M. A. Voloshin. Analysis of the concept «path» in the poet’s work makes it possible to examine in detail and describe the important features of the author’s worldview; allows to establish the characteristic features and means of representation of this concept in its poetic picture of the world. The aim of the study is to identify the features of the content and lexical embodiment of one of the key concepts in the work of M. A. Voloshin – the concept “path”. Material and methods. The article provides data on the analysis of M. Voloshin’s poetic texts of different years, containing the concept of «path», based on the spatial parameters of the path identified by V. N. Toporov. The choice of this concept is due to its special significance for understanding the author’s worldview and his place in it. The research includes the use of methods of conceptual, contextological and semantic-stylistic analysis. Results and discussion. Consideration of some of the features of the verbalization of the concept «path» made it possible to conclude that the artistic space of M. Voloshin’s poetic texts is an individual author’s understanding of being and his place in it. This statement is substantiated by the types of analysis carried out: – the definition of the intertext associative-semantic field of the concept «path» in the texts of M. Voloshin, its ramification due to units that are both traditional and individual-author’s character (wandering spirit, wandering wanderings); – identifying directions of association (path-life, path-search, path-direction, path-destination, path-choice, pathknowledge, path-wandering), the analysis of which showed the presence of a synthesizing character of the path of the lyrical hero (earthly and cosmic paths), the dynamics of its development from existence within the spatial framework to going beyond the limits of time and space; – a detailed analysis of the lexical structure of the author’s poetic texts, in which the concept under consideration is reflected. Conclusion. The study allows us to conclude that in the representation of the concept “path” in the lyrics of M. A. Voloshin reflected the multidimensionality of his personality as a philosopher, thinker, poet. | 2902 | The problem of educators’ evaluation of urban sites in order to select them and include in the educational process in accordance with current pedagogical objectives has become very important. For this purpose, teachers and educational authorities need to make organizational and teaching decisions, depending on the characteristics of urban objects under consideration. The focus of the study is to develop and describe a pedagogical assessment tool to evaluate urban facilities, which will help in making informed decisions. The aim of the study is to develop a convenient tool for educators to assess the urban environment in terms of opportunities and ways of using its various elements in the teaching process. To achieve the goal, it is necessary to identify evaluation criteria, describe them, define indicators for each criterion, and verify whether the proposed tool meets the needs of educators. To conduct the study, the methods of questioning, interviewing, analysis, modeling and verifying results of the study were used. As a result of the analysis of available scales of assessment of the educational environment, questioning and interviewing teachers, and modeling, the authors developed three criteria for pedagogical evaluation of urban facilities. These include safety, accessibility, and educational potential. Each criterion is characterized by several indicators. It is proposed to evaluate physical, psychological and informational safety, organizational, communicative, psychological and pedagogical, normative, physical, temporal, material accessibility, as well as educational value, adequacy of the object to pedagogical goals, uniqueness and effectiveness. The developed assessment tool was tested in the pedagogical community of Moscow in the form of practical works on the assessment of urban facilities and their subsequent discussion. The data was received the practical applicability of the pedagogical assessment tool of urban objects by teachers of primary and secondary schools for the selection of urban environment objects in order to include them in the educational process and to expand the range of urban resources used in the educational process. The empirical material is the texts of Russian President's speech at the press conferences of 2010–2012. | 2919 | This article is devoted to consideration of ways of conveying surprise in the artistic texts of I. A. Bunin compared to the translations into the Chinese language. From the point of view of cultural forms associated with the expression of emotions, traditions of transforming culture can be in different positions in relation to the source. In the present work, three groups of investigated units were singled out: 1) a way to express emotions in case of coincidence of the original and of the translating cultures; 2) a method of expressing emotions in the case of partial matches between the original and translating cultures; 3) a way to express emotions in case of discrepancy between the original and translating cultures. In Bunin’s fiction the emotion of wonder is expressed in three ways: nominative; descriptive; actually emotive. Translation of a literary text is inevitably exposed to the influence of the interpreter’s national picture of the world because of its conditionality to the language and culture of the people. In addition, the translation of a literary text helps to better understand the national, cultural-linguistic sense of the art work, and in several respects reveals the native Chinese speakers’ language picture of the world. The article is devoted to the consideration of ways of implementing language variability, represented at the level of phraseological subsystems of the Russian and Chinese languages. The object of the scientific description is the sphere of linguistic semantics, which receives conceptual understanding in connection with its study in the aspect of intercultural and interlanguage communication. The presence of a semantic invariant in the content of Russian and Chinese phraseological units is determined by the existence of general tendencies of sense formation and the action of universal laws of development of any national language. Semantic variants arise due to the peculiarity of national linguistic cultures as a result of the combined action of a number of extralinguistic and linguistic factors. Aim and objectives. The aim of the study is to study the functional manifestations of the theory of variation at the phraseological level of the Russian and Chinese languages in the aspect of comparative linguocultural interpretation. Material and methods. 54 phraseological units operating in modern Russian and Chinese languages, selected because of a continuous selection from lexicographic sources, were used as units of analysis. The main one is the comparative linguoculturological research method. Results and discussion. The starting point of the study was the thesis that phraseological units have not only linguistic, speech, but also linguocultural and linguocognitive status. In the meaning of most Russian phraseological units there is a pronounced national-cultural component of meaning. Taking this factor into account, general (invariant) and private (variative, characteristic for a particular linguistic culture) semantic components in the semantics of phraseological units that make up correlation semantic pairs (equivalent, non-equivalent, incompletely equivalent) are identified. In equivalent paired phraseological units, the core of semantics is the semantic invariant, nonequivalent ones are dominated by variable semantic attributes, incompletely equivalent are transitional types. Conclusion. Comparative linguistic and cultural studies make a significant contribution to the study of various linguistic concepts, including the theory of language variability, semantic interpretation, translation, on the basis of which it is concluded that they are extremely relevant for the modern scientific paradigm.
