Describes the types of training tests: practice tests, theory tests and home task tests. Provides the basic types of test tasks in both systems: multiple choice (with one or several answers), completion, matching, ordering and classification tasks. It is shown that both systems are a powerful tool in preparation of the tests and in testing. Considers in detail such differences in the preparation of the tests in the system “Iren” and MOODLE, which are important in creation of educational tests in mathematical disciplines, such as: the introduction of variability in tasks by setting a random numeric values using mathematical formulas, the ability to create tasks connected by the same numerical parameters. The problem of both systems consists in the lack of accessibility for students. Keywords: training test, test program, the program complex “Iren”, training environment MOODLE | 1973 | |||||
| 2752 | The article deals with the problem of teaching foreign students of Russian scientific speech as the most important means of educational and professional communication in a Russian university. It points to the specifics of the training of foreign students of Russian scientific speech at the Pedagogical University. Attention is drawn to the problem of teaching Russian scientific speech of foreign students at the stage of pre-university training. The use of the adaptive potential of the method of teaching the scientific style of speech is suggested, the concept of «scientific speech of subject areas of pedagogy and subject methodology» is actualized. It is understood that the creation and use of an educational complex for teaching scientific speech in classes with foreign students of a pedagogical university helps to increase the effectiveness of the educational process. It is proposed to design a textbook on teaching of scientific speech for foreign students of a pedagogical university, the theoretical and practical educational material of which is set out in a modular format, supplemented with a set of workbooks. It is recommended to include the description of the lexical, morphological, syntactic, phonetic, structural and compositional features of modern Russian scientific speech in the educational material of the educational complex, adding practical tasks that fix the theoretical basis of the educational material and imply work in pairs and small groups. The recommended for design training complex for teaching of Russian scientific speech should contain guidance for teachers, basic guide to scientific speech, a set of workbooks, a collection of tests, dictionaries, reference materials, that must meet the current requirements of the educational literature. This training complex provides methodical and motivational support for the learning process and can contribute to improving the effectiveness of teaching. | 2753 | Introduction. The lack of current theoretical and methodological works of inclusion of modern network discourse in the context of an additional education is an important problem of a pedagogical reality. The aim of the article is justification of methodological potential of a network approach for the development of additional education. Material and methods. The study is based on theoretical and methodological constructs, which are typical for modern stage of development of a network approach, which is represented by social network analysis (SNA), relational sociology, actor-network theory (ANT) and theory of social upbringing. Results and discussion. The development of modern additional education is connected with the comprehension of the social cooperation resource, which defines the practice of network partnership. Partnership network relationships are developing most dynamically under the condition of: a) openness of the life of the institution of additional education; b) the generated interest of institutions of additional education for partners; c) the development of “weak ties” (M. Granovetter). Conclusion. The network approach becomes a strategy of modernization and development for additional education. Under the condition of network partnership, “weak ties” of the network of additional education organizations, which provide opportunities for self-realization and displaying talent, become very important. | 2754 | Introduction. This article is devoted to studying a special type of network of the Russian Diaspora discourse is the discourse of the Russian-speaking Diaspora of China as a representative of the Russian linguistic culture, which is focused in the area of Chinese culture. Along with xenonyms-realities, xenonyms-interpretatives are distinguished in this discourse. If xenonyms-realities are signs of non-equivalent, initially ethnospecific phenomena and concepts of foreign-language reality, then xenonyms-interpretatives have full-fledged lexical correspondences in the recipient language, are not marked by ethno-cultural marking in the matrix language and serve the perception, understanding and interpretation of foreign language and socio-cultural reality by the Diaspora community. Material and methods. The material of the research is more than 1000 texts of network communication of the Russian-speaking Diaspora community of China, including the xenonym-interpretative chabudou. Along with the methodological tools of interlinguoculturology, derivatology and lexical semantics, the methods of contextual and discourse analysis, as well as corpus and experimental linguistics are used. Results and discussion. The analysis of data from the Online Chinese corpus and the results of a pilot experiment aimed at identifying indications of the language consciousness of Chinese students shows that the Chinese adverb 差不多 chabuduo is a typical frequency word in everyday Chinese word usage and is not endowed with special linguistic and cultural significance as an ethnospecific concept. As a reference means of expressing the universal semantic category of approximation, it has direct equivalent in the Russian language: примерно (about), приблизительно (approximately), почти (almost). However, in the course of entering into the network Russian-speaking diasporal discourse and adapting in it to the function of the xenonym-interpretative adverb chabudou undergoes a number of morphological-syntactic and lexical-semantic transformations during its entry into the network Russian-speaking diasporal discourse and adaptation in it. The main ones in this series are the substantiation of the adverb that contributes to the conceptualization of the characteristic parameters, the expansion of the range of syntactic positions of the lexeme, its inclusion in a variety of word-forming and semantic derivative modifications. Conclusion. At the level of the hypertext of discourse xenonym-interpretative is endowed with a special ethnospecific meaning, there is an intensive increase in the frequency of its use, the introduction of the xenonym into the structure of quasi-precedent statements and other forms of linguocreative practices of the network Diaspora community. | 2763 | The article analyzes the semantic complexes connected with the representation of the Vologda region in the novel by L. Ulitskaya “Green tent”. Having studied all mentions of the region in the text the author draws to conclusion that the image of the Vologda region accumulates the traditional understanding of the province as a field of resistance and inertness, preserving underlying national traits and implementing patriarchal-family basis. The Vologda region serves as a place of exile or escape from prospective danger; the personification of family which guarantees safety and transfer the national traits of the character; it is the area of the gradual decay of the countryside world, embodiment of the Russian North in general with its “intact timid nature”. This peripheral area from the chronological point of view is interpreted as the past. Arriving from the center (Moscow) at the Vologda region looks like the descent, decline in not only patriarchal existence, but also in the history of own family. | 2765 | Hypothesis is one of the most important forms of science development. At the present time the role of the hypothesis increases with the increase of theoretical knowledge and the initiation of young generation to scientific cognition methods at the University. Unfortunately, we can rarely come across the correct use of hypotheses in the educational process; its great importance in the development of students’ cognitive abilities and formation of their thinking is not always taken into account. The reason is that teachers often focus on educational issues, but overlooked the fact that problem solving proceeds by putting forward evidence and hypotheses. The article describes the logical nature of the hypothesis; determines the ways of its application in cognitive activity of students. It is emphasized, that on the one hand, the hypothesis is referred to logical forms of thinking, on the other hand – to the process of nomination, development and proof of new propositions and inferences itself. Meanwhile, the hypotheses can be performed on the basis of observations and experiments; by deductive reasoning deducing new knowledge from already known theories, and by deductive transfer of already known laws to new phenomena. Available ways of hypothesis applying to the students’ cognitive activity based on the years of experience are proposed in the article. | 2788 | The level of modern fundamental sciences and technologies, based on them, not only require an increase in the general level of natural science education, but also should attract talented young people to these areas of activity. These problems are directly related to the problems of activating cognitive interest and cognitive activity in the learning processes. In pedagogy and psychology, considerable scientific and practical materials have been accumulated on the study of cognitive interest and the formation of cognitive activity among children of junior and high school age, by various psychological and pedagogical means, including the introduction of specialized educational subjects. An important role in solving these problems plays extracurricular work with schoolchildren. In the sixties of the last century, the need to involve scientists into the study processes was recognized and therefore developing new ways to organize the teaching process for the schoolchildren. So the combination of physics and mathematics schools appeared (PhMS). Despite more than a half-century history of the physics and mathematics school existence, the PhMS in the context of activating cognitive interest and cognitive activity is considered for the first time. Illustrated by the example of Tomsk State University Physics and Mathematics School, the structure, directions and methods used in this form of extracurricular work are shown. Such forms as a correspondence physics and mathematics school, an evening physics and mathematics school, a summer full-time physics and mathematics school combining rest and training for schoolchildren, as well as a winter physics and mathematics school are considered. | 2789 | Introduction. The topicality of the research is determined by a new communicative-activity approach to the analysis of a poetic text that is very relevant for modern linguistics in order to identify its regulatory potential in the work of one of the most famous poets of the Silver Age O. E. Mandelstam. In connection with the insufficient study of the evolution of the author’s poetic worldview, it is of particular interest to analyze the regulatory means and structures in his early lyrics that are significant for organizing a dialogue between the author and the addressee. The purpose of the article is the analysis of regulatory means and structures in the early work of O. E. Mandelstam with the material of the first album of the poet “Stone” (1913). An attempt has been made to systematize regulatory means and structures in the work of the author, to determine the main functions of these structures in poetic texts. Results and discussion. According to the results of the study, it was found that Mandelstam’s early work presents a wide range of regulatory means that help to actualize a particular image in the reader’s mind, performing an aesthetic function. The analysis procedure included the following steps: 1) identification of regulatory means and structures; 2) their systematization; 3) the study of their functions in the most characteristic poems for the author, relating to the early period in the work of Mandelstam from the album “Stone”; 4) conducting receptive experiments aimed at identifying the effects of the poetic word and determining its regulatory capabilities. Among the most frequently used by the author regulatory means, a metaphor and comparison should be singled out. Due to the fact that the poems included in the album “Stone” are often narrative, the poet uses syntactic constructions complicated by the adverbial participial phrases or participial phrases, lines of homogeneous members. Conclusion. Based on the results, it was concluded that Mandelstam’s poetic texts related to early work have a fairly high degree of influence on the reader due to the presence of bright and expressive lexical regulators in them. The results of the study will help in substantiation of the author’s individual style and his poetic worldview. | 2800 | The paper discusses the issue of the development of the English speaking communicative competence at a technical university, which is thought to have become one of the most essential skills of today’s university staff. Due to this, many of the Russian universities are now reconsidering professional requirements to the staff, believing that good knowledge of English could contribute to faster integration of their universities into global scientific community. National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University, Russia, has designed a number of professional training programmes for the English language acquisition tailored to the specific needs of the academics. The paper focuses on the course outline “English for Scientific and Academic Communicative Purposes” aimed to develop foreign language communicative competence for professional communication within academic society at the level B1/B2 (Independent User) of European communicative competences. During the course, which has been primarily created for the staff of a technical university, the major features of the academic style of communication, academic grammar and vocabulary as well as the structure of the presentation and the ways of presenting scientific contents are studied and practised. Consequently, upon completing the course, the university staff are able to share the results of their professional activity with their foreign colleagues. The learners are expected to obtain the skills of making and delivering a presentation on their professional profile, duties, and challenges, which appears to be one of the major outcomes of the programme.
