| 3001 | The creative works of the Tomsk rock leader of the late 1980s – early 1990s V. Shestakov are considered in the given article in order to describe the lingvo-cultural originality of the regional infosfer. The poet’s discourse is seen in the aspect of the reflection of Siberian punk subculture in it. Born in the years of perestroika, the Siberian punk embodied in poetic texts own tragic vision of the social reality of the USSR in transition and clearly outlined protest not only against the official ideology, but also against the absurdity of the world order as a whole. A striking example of Tomsk Siberian punk version was the creation of the group “Children of Obrub” and its leader Viktor Shestakov, in whose poetry such traits as hypertrophic nihilism, pessimism, nonconformism, and acute social orientation are embodied. These features are characteristic of Siberian punk subculture as a whole, they originally refracted in a peculiar system of symbols and images inherent idiostile of creative language personality of Tomsk rock poet. | 3002 | This article is devoted to the topical problem – the intensification of learning activities in classes of musicaltheoretical subjects. These subjects play an important role in the development of hearing and musical thinking of the future professional musician. The author considers the learning activity as a complex and multicomponent process designed to change the student – the subject of training. The basic components of educational activity are carried out: the motive of learning activity, goal setting, training activities, control and evaluation. Management principles of educational activity of students are defined: management as support and maintenance, flexibility and situationality, delegation of authority and responsibility to the students. Pedagogical effect on all component parts of the category, as well as increased activity of all subjects of teaching is expected to activate the learning activity. In order to influence the component “training activities” the system of algorithms is developed for different types of learning tasks for the most demanding musical-theoretic disciplines – “Solfeggio” and “Harmony”. The first positive results are evident in the tendency to improve the quality of results, indicating involvement of students in co-management of educational activities. | 3003 | Introduction. Borrowings from Yiddish language in the American English are considered. This layer of borrowings is of special interest in the English language as the question of systematization of borrowed words from Yiddish and their complex description has not been solved yet. The aim is to describe the structural and functional features of borrowings from the Yiddish language in the American English. Material and methods. The research material is borrowed verbs from the Yiddish language, which belong to the colloquial vocabulary (to kibitz and to schmooze). The research methods are lexicographical and contextual analysis, as well as descriptive and comparative methods. Results and discussion. The borrowed lexemes schmooze and kibitz which are elements of the lexico-semantic field «Verbal communication» have negative connotation in modern English. The analysis of vocabulary definitions and etymology has shown that the meaning of borrowed verbs in English does not coincide with the meaning of the verbs in Yiddish, as in the process of borrowing there was a gradual change in the semantics of borrowed words. The initial meaning of the verbs in Yiddish is connected with information (communication of information). The meanings of the borrowed verbs are based on the common seme «verbal influence» (hidden or obvious). The verb to schmooze has several different meanings: to talk, to manipulate, to influence, to network. The meaning of the verb to kibitz has been divided into several categories: to make ironic comments, to comment, to give intrusive and unrequested advice while watching a game, performance. The shift in the meaning of the verb to schmooze is based on the phonosemantic effect, which is produced by the sound combination schm-. The change in the meaning of the verb to kibitz can be explained by high frequency of use when it appeared in American English. Taking into account the information from academic and slang dictionaries, the exact time of appearance of the lexeme schmooze (1897) and the approximate time for the lexeme kibitz (1910-1927) has been established. Non-conformity with norms of the Yiddish language when the Yiddish borrowings are used by non-Jewish English speakers is the reason of multiple variants of spelling of borrowed words in the English language. Conclusion. The research has focused on the peculiarities of lexicography of borrowed words in academic and slang dictionaries. The results prove that it is necessary to develop an integrated approach to the description of borrowings from the Yiddish language and their description in various dictionaries. | 3008 | We review the recent attempts of unifying inflation with quintessence. It appears natural to join the two ends in the framework of brane world cosmology. The models of quintessential inflation belong to the class of non-oscillatory models for which the mechanism of conventional reheating does not work. Reheating through gravitational particle production is inefficient and leads to the excessive production of relic gravity waves which results in the violation of nucleosynthesis constraint. The mechanism of "Instant preheating" is quite efficient and is suitable for brane world quintessential inflation. The mode! is shown to be free from the problem of excessive production of gravity waves. The prospects of Gauss-Bonnet brane world inflation are also briefly indicated. | 1964 | |||||

| 3010 | The question “What does it mean to know?” is becoming extremely important for modern philosophy. In the article the knowledge is analyzed as a product of postnonclassycal science. It studies the question how the nature of the knowledge changes in connection with the development of the new postnonclassycal paradigm of science. What means to know when we are talking about cognition of complex selfdeveloping systems, including a man, that is the object of postnonclassycal science. The peculiarities of social and cultural being on the whole and specific character of the modern stage of scientific dynamics influence the transformation of knowledge. The knowledge in postnonclassycal science entails not the absoute truth, but the social importance. | 1964 | |||||

| 3017 | The problem of improvement of forms of diagnostics and control of knowledge, abilities, skills, practical experience of the students of specialised secondary educational institutions under the introduction of federal state educational standards in educational practice is considered. The propaedeutic flow chart developed by authors allows to carry out stage-by-stage tracking of the concrete achievements which are trained and to determine the level of formation of common cultural and professional competences of students on all the way of development of the maintenance of a subject. Schematically this technology represents a set of four stages of didactic process from initial perception of theoretical knowledge and before their practical application. Each stage is estimated on a mark scale. The maximum number of points which the student can get on the sum of all stages makes hundred. The peculiarity of the offered development work is that it contains the level and criteria monitoring system: in a projection to the component structure of professional competences revealed by authors (cognitive, activity, motivational and valuable, communicative) to each level (from the 1st to the 3rd) achievements of results of training there corresponds the developed parameter of estimation of structure and quality of the carried-out operations, their sensibleness, completeness and curtness. Thus, the process of step formation of professional competences of students from simple to the difficult – assumes improvement of quality of educational experience. | 3018 | The article deals with the peculiarities of the use of euphemisms and dysphemisms belonging to the functionalsemantic field of death. Euphemisms became important bricks in the walls people have built to keep the dead from making them uncomfortable. The most fertile ground for euphemizing is one where open discussion of a topic is taboo. So it was with sex in the Victorian era, and so it became with death after World War II. Postwar advice books counseled parents to avoid talking about this subject with their children. Having done their best to avoid anything connected with the dying and dead, English-speaking communities replaced associated expressions considered too direct with soothing alternatives. The words ‘passed away’, or simply ‘passed’, and ‘gone’ are the most prevalent synonyms for ‘died’. Much has been written on the psychology of denying imminent death. Euphemisms clearly have an important role to play in this denial process. Growing interest in death and dying during recent decades, supported by several publications on the subject, suggests a certain willingness to face the topic squarely in print. This willingness, however, is not reflected in everyday discourse which can be proved by mass literature contexts. In addition to euphemisms there exist various dysphemisms and slang words. Like euphemisms, dysphemisms are motivated by fear and distaste, but also by hatred and contempt. Slang expressions and dysphemistic terms of insult or disrespect should be avoided in speech and teaching a language. The ethics of stoicism is not able to really oppose the person to circumstances. | 3032 | Shelomok II belongs to the circle of monuments of the Scythian-Siberian world and dates back to the 5th–4th centuries BC. Shelomok II is located 10 km south of Tomsk, on the right bank of the Tom River, on a low ridge of 15–40 m wide and 12–15 m high from the water’s edge. The settlement was discovered by G. V. Trukhin in 1959. In 1971, the monument was examined by L. M. Pletneva. L. M. Pletneva also conducted excavations in 1972, 1973, 1975, 1976, 2001 and 2002. The collections are stored in the TSU Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography of Siberia and in the Seversk Museum. The total excavated area is 1024 square meters. Nine of 19 sites were excavated there. Findings associated with bronze casting, including bronze ingots and droplets, fragments of ladles, casting moulds and a vessel with the presence of metal on its walls, as well as fire pits with the same objects are all evidence of local casting. Horizontal stratigraphy of these findings made it possible to identify production facilities: buildings No. 10 and 11, as well as two fire pits with the same findings in the cultural layer of the settlement. Bronze objects were found in dwellings, workshops and a building of worship. However, only some of the bronze objects were made in this settlement. | 3033 | Speech as a multidimensional phenomenon still remains relevant in linguistics studies. It is known that verbal communication evolved later than non-verbal one, however, a multimodal approach to language communication modeling based on spontaneous dialogues is only gaining momentum in Russian linguistics studies. The aim of the article is to provide data on principles of verbal and non-verbal correlation at times of difficulty during the development of spoken discourse between two speakers, as well as to systematize them in the most frequent multimodal patterns. The material of the article is 16 video clips of spontaneous dialogues of Russian native speakers, the total timing is 1.5 hours. The annotated video materials are students’ spontaneous dialogic discourse. The topics of dialogues can be divided into two groups – communication between friends/colleagues and communication between the client and service staff. Each video clip is annotated in ELAN v.6.2. The presented results are based on general linguistic methods of description and comparison, as well as a method of analyzing a cognitive event. Analyzing cognitive events and providing statistics on the subject, we describe the main multimodal patterns, which have been classified by the frequent nature of some speech disfluencies and non-verbal response to them. Our study is based on the gestural repetition concept. As a result, the most common speech disfluencies have been identified and divided into five large blocks. Each of the blocks is accompanied by the main multimodal patterns, implemented in different channels – manual channel, gaze channel and cephalic channel. The number of speech disfluencies recorded at the external level directly depends on the topic and not always on the level of competence of the speakers, since all dialogues are improvised by students who only have presuppositions regarding the deployment of discourse depending on the given role. Speech disfluencies and the principles of their compensation in different multimodal channels depend on both internal (cognitive) and external factors (overlapping and interruptions), which represent an interpenetrating indivisible system. | 3047 | The establishment of an information society led to the massive use of modern gadgets and led to the fact that children have difficulty in direct communication, adaptation, especially in an unfamiliar environment, as well as contributes to the deterioration of children’s health, due to sedentary lifestyles. The leading role in the process of formation of the valuable relation to the world, to himself and to other people belongs to a secondary school. In the modern educational space to solve these problems optimally is possible not separately within the institution, but in the form of networking. Stakeholders create social and educational environment for a more successful social adaptation of the individual student. One of the effective means that children get from tourism and regional studies is the socialization and preservation of health. The authors present the mechanism of leading educational institutions’ networking: Municipal autonomous educational institution of secondary school number 28 in Tomsk and municipal budgetary educational institution of additional education of childhood and youth house “Our harbor” Tomsk. As part of the networking was created an innovative platform of municipal tourist and regional studies, which is being implemented under the conditions of socio-pedagogical project “Formation of socially-adapted person taught with the help of the tourist and local lore activity in conditions of an integrated socio-educational developing environment of general and supplementary education”. | 3048 | Introduction. Modern corpus-oriented linguistics allows us to study the phenomena of language, expanding the database on which research is based, attracting for analysis the wide possibilities of text and metatext markup of corpus. The aim of this work is to describe, based on the data of the Russian National Corpus, the functional peculiarity of Russian verb prefixes (based on the material of verbs with the prefix pred-), which are «responsible» for the use of the prefixal verb in texts of a certain sphere of functioning and subject matter. Material and methods. The object of this study is the prefix pred- with the prospective semantics «to do an action in advance» and verbs with it, formed according to the model introduced into the Russian language from the Old Slavic language. Based on the statement that the prefix, which has a relative independence in the structure of the verb in comparison with the suffix, is able not only to modify the meaning of the verb, but also to change the scope of its use, the article offers a comparative analysis of the functioning of the verb with the prefix pred- and the corresponding non-prepositional verb by analyzing the sphere of use and the subject of texts in which these units are realized. The article analyzes the occurrences of the verbs in the texts of 9 spheres of functioning (artistic, church-theological, educational-scientific, etc.) and 42 subjects (law, science and technology, politics and public life, etc.). Results and discussion. We suggest that verbs with the prefix pred-, due to its Old Slavic origin, are involved in the texts of the church-religious sphere in modern Russian, as well as in the texts of those spheres of use that correlate with the “predictive” function of prospective verbs. Based on this assumption, we consider pairs of units to predict/say, foresee/see, destine/assign, precede/march, prescribe/write; the percentage of their use in texts of a certain sphere of functioning and subject matter is calculated in relation to the number of texts in this sphere and subject matter; we identify the most significant areas of functioning (church-theological, educational-scientific, artistic, industrial-technical) and subjects of texts (philosophy, philology, astronomy, physics, etc.) in which the studied units are realized. Conclusion. The reference to the data of the Russian National Corpus revealed a change in the sphere of use of verbs with the prefix pred- (less often the subject of texts), which allows us to assert that the prefix is really able to influence the use of verbs with it.
