| 2712 | Grammar is a separate subject at linguistic departments and faculties in Russia, which is in line with the existing system of teaching aspects of language to students of Linguistics. However, lessons of practical grammar at linguistic departments can and must facilitate the development of discourse competence as an integral part of communicative competence. The use of non-finite forms of the English verb (verbals) which is usually found in the 2nd year syllabus is often discourse-bound. The basic pre-requisite for teaching non-finite forms of the verb is that students should be disposed to different discourse types, given models of texts with the grammatical structures in question and taught to create their own texts using discourse markers and features of text organisation. The article describes techniques of practicing non-finite forms of the verb (verbals) in English aimed at strengthening discourse skills in university students and exposing them to different discourse types. | 2721 | Ontology is a knowledge about world as a whole. Union of ontology and science put some limitations on ontology, that are caused by need to co-ordinate language of science with language of ontology. Main characteristic features of science are logic and mathematics. Union of ontology and science could be successful only if ontology will have the same features. These requirements meets relative ontology based on a assumption that being is possible only through act of inequality, and non-being – through act of equality. Examining of inequality structure leads us to a need of considering in being act of equality as well. As a result we should refuse of considering problems of Being–Non- Being separately and proceed to united problem of Being–Non-Being. Inequality can be represented by mathematical subtraction. That allows to substantiate ontologically basic mathematical concepts: concepts of set and number. Mathematics become a part of ontology. Inequality is an idea. Equality is a matter. Being is a unity of matter and idea. Change of being can be fulfilled in two ways – material and ideal. Relation between both ways of change gives us three basic kind of being: somatic, anthropological and theological. In somatic being change is realized by means of material way. In anthropological being – both material and ideal ways are equally available. Theological being uses ideal way of change. Development of world proceeds from somatic – through anthropological – to theological one. | 2724 | The epistolary forms which entered a context of “The Moscow magazine” and “The Bulletin of Europe” are considered as an embodiment of the concept of N. M. Karamzin – the publisher, as a reprezentant of his creative method. N. M. Karamzin actively develops poetics of the private, friendly letter in the journalistic and publishing practice, thus the poetics of epistolary publications in Karamzin magazines is conformable to poetics of his private letters. In magazines, also as well as in private letters, estimates and judgments of the publisher, his image itself organize reader’s perception, play a sample role, immerse in the Karamzin sphere of spiritual and intellectual aspirations. The letter as a plot forming element of Karamzin magazines allowed their publisher to come into direct contact with the reader, and “someone else’s” letters became remarks in the dialogue organized by the publisher, a reason for publishing reflections. The letter becomes an ideal form of creation of the addressee – the reader of the magazine as in it the behavioural standard is formed. Certain dynamics of epistolary poetics from “The Moscow magazine” to “the Bulletin of Europe” is noted. The conclusion is that the epistolary is the major esthetic category, it in many respects causes deep internal unity of editions of N. M. Karamzin. Keywords: epistolary form, magazine, N. M. | 2743 | Hypothesis is one of the most important forms of science development. At the present time the role of the hypothesis increases with the increase of theoretical knowledge and the initiation of young generation to scientific cognition methods at the University. Unfortunately, we can rarely come across the correct use of hypotheses in the educational process; its great importance in the development of students’ cognitive abilities and formation of their thinking is not always taken into account. The reason is that teachers often focus on educational issues, but overlooked the fact that problem solving proceeds by putting forward evidence and hypotheses. The article describes the logical nature of the hypothesis; determines the ways of its application in cognitive activity of students. It is emphasized, that on the one hand, the hypothesis is referred to logical forms of thinking, on the other hand – to the process of nomination, development and proof of new propositions and inferences itself. Meanwhile, the hypotheses can be performed on the basis of observations and experiments; by deductive reasoning deducing new knowledge from already known theories, and by deductive transfer of already known laws to new phenomena. Available ways of hypothesis applying to the students’ cognitive activity based on the years of experience are proposed in the article. | 2744 | Introduction. This article is devoted to studying a special type of network of the Russian Diaspora discourse is the discourse of the Russian-speaking Diaspora of China as a representative of the Russian linguistic culture, which is focused in the area of Chinese culture. Along with xenonyms-realities, xenonyms-interpretatives are distinguished in this discourse. If xenonyms-realities are signs of non-equivalent, initially ethnospecific phenomena and concepts of foreign-language reality, then xenonyms-interpretatives have full-fledged lexical correspondences in the recipient language, are not marked by ethno-cultural marking in the matrix language and serve the perception, understanding and interpretation of foreign language and socio-cultural reality by the Diaspora community. Material and methods. The material of the research is more than 1000 texts of network communication of the Russian-speaking Diaspora community of China, including the xenonym-interpretative chabudou. Along with the methodological tools of interlinguoculturology, derivatology and lexical semantics, the methods of contextual and discourse analysis, as well as corpus and experimental linguistics are used. Results and discussion. The analysis of data from the Online Chinese corpus and the results of a pilot experiment aimed at identifying indications of the language consciousness of Chinese students shows that the Chinese adverb 差不多 chabuduo is a typical frequency word in everyday Chinese word usage and is not endowed with special linguistic and cultural significance as an ethnospecific concept. As a reference means of expressing the universal semantic category of approximation, it has direct equivalent in the Russian language: примерно (about), приблизительно (approximately), почти (almost). However, in the course of entering into the network Russian-speaking diasporal discourse and adapting in it to the function of the xenonym-interpretative adverb chabudou undergoes a number of morphological-syntactic and lexical-semantic transformations during its entry into the network Russian-speaking diasporal discourse and adaptation in it. The main ones in this series are the substantiation of the adverb that contributes to the conceptualization of the characteristic parameters, the expansion of the range of syntactic positions of the lexeme, its inclusion in a variety of word-forming and semantic derivative modifications. Conclusion. At the level of the hypertext of discourse xenonym-interpretative is endowed with a special ethnospecific meaning, there is an intensive increase in the frequency of its use, the introduction of the xenonym into the structure of quasi-precedent statements and other forms of linguocreative practices of the network Diaspora community.
